Start Making Sense Alternate Currents is an S.F.-based performing ensemble; Common Sense is a N.Y.-based composers' collective. Pooling talents, the two groups have created Folding the Map, a collection of eight contemporary, experimental, and original music pieces. The result of six months of communication through tapes, e-mail, faxes, and telephone calls, the show marks Alternate Currents' only S.F. appearance this year.
