Dear Michael,
I must confess that Wednesday, the 28th of May, was the first time that I was told that Riff Raff was illegally excerpting the new title from HarperEdge, Douglas Rushkoff's Ecstasy Club. I of course consulted our legal department about the rights issues that you violated, but I tried to assure them that in fact since no one had brought this up in the many weeks it had been going on, it was testimony enough that no one had in fact read it.
