The draw here isn't just the food, but the show: anime on multiple TV screens, manga art on the walls, pulsing techno on the sound system, Japanese toys on shelves behind the beverage and sushi bars, beautiful (some might say handsome) sushi chefs, and a staff as colorful as the crowd lining up at the bar and sometimes out the door. The sushi is good, although not the best in the city, but raising the dishes a notch is the spectacular presentation. The real wow, though, is the desserts, all made from scratch on the premises and most featuring edible architectural touches. There isn't one bad choice on the menu, but we preferred the green tea cheesecake with a miniscoop of green tea ice cream on the side.
