Ah, the joy of a Tuesday night aperitif at Blondie's -- soft, lilting jazz, an open-air patio, and some of the best (and largest) cocktails in the city. But then: Ah, the horror of Blondie's on a weekend, when frat types, suburbanites -- to be honest, we don't know who they are -- spill from the patio onto the street, drown out whatever music is playing, and make ordering a drink almost impossible. Though this seems to happen everywhere in the Mission on weekends, Blondie's offers the most dramatic example. By the time it's over, it's hard not to exclaim: "Thank God it's Monday!"
