This New Year's Eve, promoters the A List and Delicious Karma are hosting "Wish," an event that will manage to be both opulent (they've promised to transform the venue into "paradise" through the aid of "over $40,000 in décor") and charitable (a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Greater Bay Area Make-A-Wish Foundation). Miguel Migs, Mauricio Aviles, Donovan, and Solomon man the turntables for an evening of elegant house and sophisticated techno, while the IMG Home Gallery's multiple rooms and patio provide ample places for the non-hoofers to lounge. And in a clever twist of the Make-A-Wish theme, random -- and hopefully creative -- wishes will be granted to selected ticket holders who e-mailed their desires in earlier this month.
