These frat boys of East Coast rap return to the scene with their sixth album, a mixture of funky productions and juvenile rhymes. Not much has changed for Psycho Les and Juju since their early '90s sleepers like "Lick the P*ssy" and "Here's a Drink" -- they're still mainly concerned with ladies, liquor, and letting loose at fake MCs. The album's single, "Hot," blazes with a heavy beat and some serious horns, but for a group that prides itself on excellent production, about half of the album falls flat. "U Nomsayin" gets an extra punch from Roc-A-Fella MC Freeway, and "Confused Rappers," featuring Rahzel, is an example of classic 'Nuts (i.e., clever lyrics over an uptempo instrumental). Still, Milk Me is an average LP with some standout tracks, which could be seen as an accomplishment in this era of lackluster hip hop, but fans of the Queens duo expect -- and deserve -- something more.
