This Friday, local wunderkind promoters Jenny and Omar reinstate their beloved club night "Fake," which ran for a few years at the Cat Club and has now landed at a new venue. They call it "the inevitable fusion of everything," and they are not kidding. Many clubs claim to be eclectic, but "Fake" puts its money where its lipsticked mouth is. Goth, rock, electro, disco -- it's all fair game and surprisingly funky, as is the night's diverse clientele. With a jampacked nightlife calendar, TophOne is hands down one of the hardest-working DJs and promoters in San Francisco, constantly sharing and spreading the tipsy funk through his event company, RedWine. This week he's got two important things to celebrate: his birthday and the 13th anniversary of RedWine's "Annual Holiday Bash."
