The Pros and Cons of Infiltration

Of life and death choices:First let me say the piece on the Republican Party was entertaining and funny ["Grand Old Partying," Infiltrator, Oct. 13]. Worth a read. The next about the abortion protestors was engrossing, literally ["I Was an Abortion Protestor!," Infiltrator, Nov. 10]. This is what these people do and feel important doing. That was clear. Is that what a fanatic is?

The bottom line to this whole debate ... is about and for a woman's right to choose what and how to do with her own body. It's a very personal choice deep in one's soul. I just love (yeah -- right) buttholes who think it's their choice to make. Go away and let women choose what is right for themselves. Push literature in somebody's face in the name of God, and you have broached the personal space we all require in life, as well as intruded in a woman's right to choose.

I lost my wife/companion of 25 years recently. That was a very personal time and thing to go through. I can only sympathize about a woman's very personal choice in life.

Some thoughts from the man.David Man:Don't you have anything better to do than go to gun shows making fun of what I can imagine is Californians' finest ["Wake Up, America!," Infiltrator, Nov. 24]? And then blasting them in the newspaper like a scared bully that only talks shit when someone's back is turned?

What, don't you like "Mexicans" either? That is what I took away from the article. I think the person writing it was a secret member of FAIR and then was seen there by someone they knew so they had to act [quick] like they didn't belong.

I think the catchphrase "What part of 'illegal' don't they understand" will go over as well as it did with pot.

You forgot to mention AK-47s and Uzis somewhere in the story. Like so many others do. I think it's become synonymous when the subject of guns comes up. But you can't say that because there is nothing more illegal in California than a law-abiding gun owner. But you can always find crack to drown your sorrows in.

Just my thoughts on it though.

Just wanted to say nice piece ["Wake Up, America!"]. I met my husband in San Francisco -- he's Mexican, and I'm American. We live in Mexico now ....

The world is changing, and so is the U.S., and I hope that people can embrace the changes, instead of creating more hatred and negativity.

Did you know that Mexico's second largest income is money sent into the country from the U.S.? People risk their lives to cross the border, work horrible jobs, and still get paid probably at least 10 times more than they would here. And they send the money home. They can't return to Mexico, and they sacrifice a lot, sometimes their lives.

I'm not saying that I condone illegal immigration, but, well, I don't know the solution ... but it's certainly not hatred.

Thanks for the article. Nice work. I would have liked to see how the people reacted the following day.
