Kayaking for a cause

SAT 1/22The highlights of my 10th-grade summer-school gym stint (besides the cute bikini I wore) were the days when we'd pack our horny adolescent bodies into kayaks for some fun on the local river. I can't promise such coquettish pleasures on the "Marin Islands Kayak and Restoration" trip, but I can assure you you'll be rowing your boat for a much better cause. You'll spend an afternoon helping to restore the native habitat of this bee-you-ti-ful region and also get a chance to check out a green place that's usually off-limits to the public because of its thriving yet delicate heron rookery.
