Sending up the Doug Henning-infested world of "Broadway style" magic shows, the performer known as Stallion beckons you to experience his latest extravaganza, "Fogstorm." Witness his powerful, powerful powers: the power of seduction, the power to amaze, and the power to pack a lot of satire into a small space. Dumb patriotism, fake tans, and "anyone whose imagination has ever been sparked by the idea of love" come in for the harshest of the dry parody here, but New Agers and graphic designers who employ glossy horse motifs should probably watch their backs as well.

Untitled (Phone) by Ye Rin Mok features the last item standing in the typical cleared-out office: a phone lying in a tangled heap on a freshly vacuumed corporate carpet. It's also broken, and therein lies the narrative, which, if we're to follow "Come Clean"'s curator Jasmine Granados, "deals with the shedding of the old and embarrassing the new." We'll defer. Mok shows with Txu Txo Perez, Ramses, and others at this unique venue, described on the Web site as a "huge open box" maintained by "live-in artists, designers, chefs, etc.," at 6 p.m. at Warehouse 1310, 1310 Potrero Ave. (at 25th Street), S.F. Help for the fashion weak

Time to tuck those North Face jackets, Tevas, and yellow rubber bracelets into a time capsule and strut your way down to the second annual San Francisco Fashion Week, where for four days, 15 top local designers -- from frilly frockster Erin Mahoney to evening wear engineer Colleen Quen -- will present their spring 2006 collections. Modeling the wares will be America's Next Top Model finalists Brittany, Christina, and Lluvy, as well as Kimberly Guilfoyle and Queer As Folk's Michelle Cluni. Amid the spectacle, viewers can take their own turns in choice couture at the "Fashion Week Boutique," offering the newest creations from 50 national apparel, accessory, and jewelry designers.
