Heads up, Cal football fans. We know you know the lore about the Hayward Fault running "goalpost to goalpost" inside Memorial Stadium. Well, now, thanks to the folks at the U.S. Geological Survey, you can view the trajectory of the feared earthquake fault through the stadium for yourself, as this satellite photo via Google Earth shows. And yes, the fault darts straight through the cheap seats in both end zones. You think maybe fans would just as soon not sit smack on top of what could be ground zero during the Big One? Think again. Season ticket holders gobbled up every one of the general admission seats in both end zones last year, and, according to the UC ticket office, there's a waiting list for the '06 season.
