FRIDAY THROUGH MONDAY: Technicolor gets a workout with Errol Flynn crossing swords in The Adventures of Robin Hood (Michael Curtiz, 1938; 7:30 p.m.; also Sat & Sun 3:35 p.m. ) and Judy Garland crossing bricks in The Wizard of Oz (Victor Fleming, 1939; 5:35, 9:30 p.m. ).

TUESDAY THROUGH THURSDAY: Glenn Miller's band and the specialty acts of the Nicholas Brothers are the real stars of Orchestra Wives (Archie Mayo, 1942; 7:30 p.m. ), screening with The Great Waltz (Julien Duvivier, 1938; 5:35, 9:30 p.m. ), a biopic of Johan Strauss (Fernand Gravet).

THURSDAY (July 13): "Too Scary for DVD," a series of rare, 35mm horror films, screens Eye of the Cat (David Lowell Rich, 1969). Michael Sarrazin is a cat-fearing thief out to rob his cat-loving aunt 7:30 p.m.
