The "Save Darfur Tour" was conceived by Alexipharmic, a Los Angeles rapper who donates half of his earnings from music to charity. More specifically, he raises funds for nonprofits who promote awareness about the continued genocide in Sudan. The local stop of his production, which gives all of its proceeds to this cause, is headlined by fellow Angelenos the Visionaries, the multicultural group (DJs Key Kool and Rhettmatic along with rappers LMNO, Lord Zen, Dannu, and 2Mex) known for incisive social commentary and bright beats.
