Lizz Winstead is a former executive vice president of Air America Radio, she did a radio show with Chuck D., and she co-created the The Daily Show (that was way before Jon Stewart, but still). She’s also a touring stand-up comic heading to S.F., so right now she’s doubtlessly doing what every political jokester is doing: feverishly penning her last, best Karl Rove jokes. (Even Rove got into the spirit when he resigned earlier this month, ripping this gut-buster on the podium: “I will ask for God's continued gifts of strength and wisdom for you [Mr. President] and your work, your vital work for our country and the world, and for the Almighty's continued blessing of our great country.” Wait, that’s not funny.) Catch Winstead’s political comedy with openers Bruce Cherry and Jason Downs.
