It's fun to mock the names of college courses. More sarcasm has been directed towards Underwater Basketweaving than any other, probably, but we assure you that Intro to the Universe existed in the late ´90s at UC Santa Cruz. However, it never occurred to us that one could enroll in Fashion Show Production. "Fashion Rewind: Play It. Make It. Wear It." is a production of the Fashion Design and Fashion Marketing and Management students at the Art Institute of California, and it features clothes made by (and, presumably, marketed by) said students. The focus this quarter is on two things: sustainability and music icons, so expect Go-Gos– inspired garbage bag dresses and ´80s pumps. Oh, and before you mock, remember: fashion people often enjoy criticizing others and excel at it. Are those Dockers?
