His hits include "The Thrill Is Gone," "Everyday I Have the Blues," and the song he wrote for his mysteriously powerful Gibson guitar, "Lucille." His guitar style, which feels and sounds like vibrating honey, defines electric blues, and his voice seems to express the sorrow and horniness of most if not all the world.
