Thrill Not Gone After All

He wears the crown with such style: B.B. King has been the King of the Blues for 50 years. His hits include "The Thrill Is Gone," "Everyday I Have the Blues," and the song he wrote for his mysteriously powerful Gibson guitar, "Lucille." His guitar style, which feels and sounds like vibrating honey, defines electric blues, and his voice seems to express the sorrow and horniness of most — if not all — the world. Many try to emulate him, none succeed, and his international popularity has yet to waver. Hail to the King.
