All Trannies EveThis is a year of "new Halloween traditions," thanks to pagan holiday-ruining shootings in the Castro last October. If your "new tradition" doesn't include staying home alone half-dressed in a Hillary Clinton costume and chain-smoking, the most exciting new event promises to be Halloween: A Party. Created by drag "ghoul friends" Heklina and Peaches Christ, this cross-dressing fright-fest draws upon the creative talents behind both Midnight Mass and Trannyshack. This unholy union, naturally, means a midnight show featuring some of the most dreaded drag denizens around, including Vinsantos, Renttecca, and Fauxnique. Horrifying décor fills a spacious hall, along with projections of classic films in the horror, slasher, cult, and animatronic monster genres. Just imagine a Halloween sleepover from your childhood, but add nightmarishly dressed trannies, a river of hard alcohol, and creepy music spun by Trannyshack's Adrian & the Mysterious D and Midnight Mass's Dupuy. We may be safe from gunfire this year, but nothing can protect us from this violent hail of monstrous, questionably gendered creativity.
