Gliding Through the Holiday
This is where all those sweet Christmas stories come true: Glide Church gets toys for kids, food for the hungry, and coats and blankets for the cold. If you are a cold, hungry kid, you get it all. How is it that the same organization also puts on one of the city's best parties, every Sunday? Rocking gospel, crazy dancing, and that famous "unconditional love" for – and from -- the nearest stranger are to be expected at this place. At the Christmas Celebrations and Dinner, anyone, devout or not, is welcome to party, to serve, to eat, and to feel amazing. The fun and music are followed by free dinner for hundreds of needy and homeless people – again with the Christmas spirit.
