If you live in the country, and if you are eleven years old or younger, you probably hang out in creekbeds and know what it feels like to hold a lizard. But if you're reading this, you're neither, so you've got some work to do to catch up with the rest of the muddy gigglers. Check out McLaren Park Earth Day, and find all kinds of activities to get you feeling like a grass-stained ten-year-old: bike-fixing workshops, habitat restoration (aka pulling weeds out of the riverbank and making friends with whoever lives in the roots), native plants for sale, and best of all, some chances to meet wiggly dudes including frogs, turtles, and snakes.
