Chus & Ceballos coined the term "Iberican" (an amalgam of Iberian and American) to define their aesthetic. While their slang has yet to catch on, the duo's music has elevated their international stature — they're currently the most famous dance export from Madrid. So what does Iberican sound like? It's really just an uptempo spin on house, favoring tribal beats, big vocals, and the high-pitched melodic chords typically associated with trance.
