"Global Honking Ground" is a slate of video, by Ayreen Anastas and Rene Gabri, Benjamin Gerdes, Jennifer Hayashida, and Jesal Kapadia. Organized by the 16Beaver group from New York City, the screening aims to dig into the word "ground," as in underground, ground zero, ground down, and other meanings that might pertain to our national self-image and our national behavior. The show is presented as part of "Hopeless and Otherwise," the current exhibit at Southern Exposure Gallery.
