An indoor fireworks celebration doesn't exactly sound like the safest idea for a gathering. But "Sky of Diamonds" is up to code: The party offers projections of virtual fireworks presented by a team of visual artists almost as large as the DJ lineup. The music at this three-room event promises plenty of funky grooves from colorful locals — but keep an ear out for the rap/electro stylings of Azeem (who might actually bust out with some poetry) and whomping house music from old-school DJ Laird (the latter's crew called Weapons of Ass Destruction) at this Independence Day throwdown.
