You Look Like a Bachinksy

Dave Bachinsky is coming up in the world of skateboarding. The young professional skater was thrown into the spotlight a couple years ago after hucking himself down 20 stairs in Southern California. He actually kickflipped the stair set, which involved jumping really high, flipping the skateboard, , maybe a quick prayer, and then absorbing the impact of the 15-foot drop, hoping not to blow out any ankles or knees. City Skateboards premieres What the F**k is a Bachinsky? in the Mission and it promises to be a party. Although the skate video screens at shops and theaters in more than 75 cities across the country, City is run out of San Francisco's Hunter's Point, making the event a hometown celebration topped with a performance by Oakland's Mistah F.A.B. The video includes the skating of Bachinsky, as well as Jeremy Reeves, Russ Milligan, and others. So what the fuck is a Bachinsky? It's best explained on City's website by the man himself: "A Bachinsky is a dude who doesn't give a fuck and skates his ass off."
