Full disclosure: Dan Strachota writes for this paper. He was once our beloved music editor. Also, we like him and attend the events he organizes and DJs for, like the incredibly awesome "Bardot A Go-Go" 1960s French music dance nights. Still, we didn't know he had a dirty mind. A dirty résumé, even: He writes for Nerve.com! We feel flustered but intrigued by this knowledge. At this evening's Rebel Reading Series, founders April Kilcrease, Whitney Phaneuf, and Stephanie Pullen chose Strachota to read some of that not-appropriate-for-SF Weekly stuff, since the series' theme this time is "Free Sex." Also sluttin' out are Ellen Sussman, author of Dirty Words: A Literary Encyclopedia Of Sex, and Ben Perez, who's responsible for The Evil Queen: A Pornolexicology.
