Flamenco partying was legendary at the late, lamented Timo's restaurant on Valencia near 20th Street. But these days, Spanish dancer and their admirers get together to celebrate just down the street, at Fiesta Flamenca, organized by dancer La Tania. The monthly event features improvisational dancing, juerga style, an audience-participation Bulerias circle, Flamenco-related art slideshows, and DJ Sandrella. Performers include Cuadro Flamenco Aljib, featuring dancers Sandra Gabas, Gina Giammanco, Anna Ciachellia, and Lea Kobeli; singer Roberto Zamora, and guitarist David McLean.
