"It was like kissing Hitler." Somehow, Tony Curtis' description of his love scene with Marilyn Monroe in Some Like It Hot will always define him, whether it was a joke, as he claims, or not. Before you cuss us for throwing shade, though, think about it: The quotation is funny, unexpected, completely unlikely, and brings a new perspective on something America thought it knew everything about. Curtis, who appears in person at "A Tribute to Tony Curtis," is a movie star with incredible range, whose performances in the 1950s and '60s remain as much a discredit to Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt as they were to the vapid prettyboys of the midcentury.
