Like Amanda Eicher's art constellation of names which enlivens the ceiling at Adobe Bookshop, "Assembly Instructions" is a flow chart of an exhibition, and very pretty. Artist Alexandre Singh's show was a "mid-month pick" by artbusiness.com's Alan Bamberger, but it's only up for another few days, so hurry. Singh's work is made up of vari-sized framed black-and-white collages and text-based pieces, all of which are connected by diagram-like dotted lines on the walls themselves. The subjects are many, and range from "the metaphysical nature of San Francisco itself" to ruminations on Pope confession.
