Killing My Lobster has been called "our own little Second City" so many times it's getting boring, so we won't repeat it (starting … now). Any long-form comedy troupe that sticks around for more than ten years is bound to wind up with a cliché stuck to it, right? And KML turns 11 this year. You're invited to the party, a one-night-only buffet table of favorite skits from the past called Killing My Lobster Goes to 11. Eleven skits by 11 directors may sound like a recipe for backstage disaster to you, but these people are professionals, or at least, they've been dodging each other in the wings for 11 years. Two founding members, Marc Vogel and Paul Charney, appear for the occasion – but of course the question uppermost in your mind is not "Will Vog-dog and the Charn man show?" but instead, "Is anyone going to poke fun at lame startup companies of the dot-com era, or address the George Foreman Grill?" Answer: KML is just like our own little Second City (OK now.)
