Three things delight us about Patton Oswalt: He has the best joke about KFC Bowls we've ever heard (we've heard two). He lived in S.F. when he was poor. He worshiped David Foster Wallace and gave a commencement address at his old high school that mimicked, in a funnier and much more punctuated way, the one Wallace gave at Kenyon College in 2005 -- both can be summed up as, "Kids, don't be assholes!" Patton appears in S.F. for nine shows, the last two on New Year's Eve. Miss any at your own peril.
