Claude VonStroke. Justin Martin. Christian Martin. Worthy. These freq-y Dirtybirds of a feather have flocked together to rule the local tech-funk roost for the past several years. And now they are planting a new nest at Mezzanine, kicking off a quarterly Dirtybird Records party with this, a celebration of their label’s fourth anniversary. Swingin’ basslines, pinched switchback filters, and cheeky track twitters are slathered with dubby, strung-out detailing and sonorous deep house chords and fueled by synthline accelerant. Dirtybird Records’ signature sunbaked, sweat-beaded motorik will be in full flush at its birthday party on Friday, Jan. 9. 10 p.m., $15; 625-8880 or www.mezzaninesf.com. — Tony Ware
