They Talk to RainbowsBy Hiya SwanhuyserPublished on December 31, 2008Mari Keeler's photographs are high-color, multiple-exposure fever dreams. She layers pretty candy tones and neon slashes over decaying buildings, slumped figures, or -- our favorite -- a snarling, transparent tiger. At "Le Big Bang," Keeler joins a team of like-minded artists. Especially sisterly is graphic designer Katie Decker, whose collage-y work also uses the relationship between rough and glossy textures. Decker also likes decaying buildings -- as we think all visual artists should. Curator Joseph Latimore also includes work by Kebe Dunn, Katie Gray, and Jamie Cole.
