Last August, LCD Soundsystem honcho James Murphy and drummer Pat Mahoney brought their headphones and record bags to San Francisco and blessed us with Special Disco Version, the DJ duo's playlist of late-'70s-to mid-'80s underground New York disco, house, and electro. This time, it's up to Mahoney and the extremely able Andy Butler — the mastermind behind vaunted psycho-disco outfit Hercules & Love Affair — to maintain the Soho-SOMA freak-groove connection.
