Face it: The MSM does not think of itself as your educator. Didn't go to a school fancy enough to have economics classes? That's your problem, buddy! Reading the business section of any publication is just enough to frustrate a lot of us. What does "profit" mean, exactly? You probably think you know, but then again, you probably didn't think you'd see this bailout jazz in your lifetime, either, did you? Some local Socialists offer these classes to provide a different perspective than you'd get if you decided to bag it all and attend business school -- and at a fraction of the cost! The combover in you may be thinking "Squawk squawk! These are REDS!" but ask yourself what capitalism's done for you lately.
