It's the kind of thing promoters say: "Some of the hottest multimedia performers in the Bay Area!" If you're like us, when you see those words, you tune out unless it's a reeeeeally good friend who's laying them down. But tune back in: We are not promoters. We're under no compulsion to do anything other than tell you which events we think are best. And the May Day Festival is definitely one of the biggest and most fun variety-show-type conglomerations around. Fancy drag queens of many genders, flying dance companies, on-fire comedians, live music, and joyful gay clog dancers join the three-day fest; there are 25 performers in all, with a different show each night. Celebrate the "people's holiday" with some of the hottest multimedia performers in the Bay Area.
