The talented Ross Turner makes an appearance at yet another comedy event in laugh-lovin’ San Francisco at "Comedy Returns to El Rio." Since he has frequently trodden the joke boards around the Bay Area (14 times at Rooster T. Feathers Comedy Club in Sunnyvale alone!), it seems only natural to bring his brand of absurd and observational humor to the Mission. Though seasoned in the comedy club arts, he has such range that he also appears on QVC's Craftsman Workshop program, filling the armchair shopper’s bag with drills and routers. He’s in demand on the corporate circuit as well: If we’re to believe what we see on YouTube (cats and dogs CAN go scuba diving together!), Turner killed it at his last Comcast appearance, conjuring the company’s marketing department as they came up with the “Comcastic” slogan. He’s a man clearly devoted to his craft and all manner of audiences: If he can get a bunch of bleary-eyed conventioneers laughing, a bar full of tipsy boozers and enthusiastic teetotalers should be no problem. Yayne Abeba, Nick Leonard, Candy Churilla, Debbie Campo, and Lisa Geduldig also perform.
