Last election, when we were all wondering what was on Obama’s fabled BlackBerry, the sketch comedy troupe Kasper Hauser was wondering how fast it could get a book out. Record time, it turns out: Obama’s BlackBerry, released this month, is a hysterical little volume of the president’s correspondence. It’s at least as funny as Wedding of the Times, a parody of The New York Times' wedding announcements, which the troupe also released this month. And both hold up well against SkyMaul: Happy Crap You Can Buy from a Plane, which totally destroyed us a few years back, with all kinds of spitting Coke on our keyboards and laugh-crying at our desks. So that makes three books, good books, in as many years. You might be thinking, what about the sketch comedy? No surprise: good. Find out how good at Kasper Hauser's Book Release Show, which features a performance, a Q&A headed by Beth Lisick, and a book signing.
