Tom Shepard's film stars Ana Cisneros, Kelydra Welker, and Harmain Khan. They are not actors, or artists, or even old enough to move out of their parents' house. Instead, they're Whiz Kids, entrants in the biggest and baddest high-pressure science contest ever, the Intel Science Talent Search. It's the Junior Miss contest of the intelligent set. (Make all the nerd jokes you want. These people will soon buy you.) Education, coming of age, curiosity, and the effects of social class and its attendant privileges are the co-stars. The screening benefits the Exploratorium.
