Spreading Those Wings

Underground indie-folk heaven would be Little Wings, Karl Blau, and the Sarees playing in an airy, warm barn surrounded by peaceful orchards. Maybe throw in some good wine and an organic meal? Okay, we're getting hella twee. Our point is that the man behind Little Wings, Kyle Field, is kind of a dream. He's a Pitchfork darling, he collaborates with Jason Lytle, his song "The Shredder Sequel" will be with some of us until we die. He also paints important skateboard decks, sleeps in his truck, and surfs like a motherfucker. And his music? Relaxed, sweet, odd, meandering perfection.
