This year's WiLD 94.9 the Bomb event has something for everybody. Those seeking bombastic summertime fun should check out rotund Miami MC Rick Ross, his associate Gorilla Zoe from Atlanta, and old-school crowd-pleaser Ice Cube. Houston spitter Baby Bash and much-heralded Miami MC Pitbull bring a Latin edge to mainstream rap sounds, as does Sean Paul by way of his chart-topping dancehall anthems. Surprisingly, the hottest performer on the bill is former dance-craze purveyor Soulja Boy, who struck earworm gold once again on his latest album, iSouljaBoyTellem. If all else fails, give yourself a neck massage in advance and then go headbang to the crunk-punk-electro sounds of Hollywood producers LMFAO.
