Soul Slam IV: Prince vs. Michael Jackson

So beloved are Prince and Michael Jackson that there are two recurring parties in San Francisco devoted to their funkiness and enduring catalogs. "Prince vs. Michael Jackson," hosted by local label Bomb Records, happens monthly at Madrone Lounge. "Soul Slam," on the other hand, is a yearly tribute organized by S.F. crews Fresco and Massive Selector along with New York's KeiStar, promoter of the annual "Wonder-full" Stevie Wonder tribute. "Soul Slam IV" will bring "Wonder-full" mixer DJ Spinna in from N.Y. to spin Prince and M.J. classics with locals Hakobo, King Most, and Proof.
