Known as “America's most beautiful run,” the Bridge to Bridge 12K and 7K Run/Walk is proud of its location, sure. But maybe the people who call it that are referring to the good hearts of the runners and organizers — the event does benefit the Special Olympics. So come for the cause and stay for the views, as you tailor the level of athletic challenge to fit just right, and take your time — fast or slow, run or walk. Either way, don't look at your shoes as you follow the course, which traces the world-famously pretty northern edge of San Francisco: the Embarcadero, Fort Mason, Marina Green, and Crissy Field give the B2B its nickname. An added bonus is same-day registration.
