Stateside success has largely eluded Kylie Minogue, even as the petite Australian disco and electropop star has become a massive global phenomenon. Her last album, 2007's Kylie X, didn't exactly rocket up the charts, but she has nonetheless finally decided to give the American market a real try, doing a concise U.S. tour that includes two nights in Oakland.
