The Price Is Fright

Local heavyish shreddin' indie-rock band Citay lists Black Sabbath as an influence on its MySpace page, so the group's Halloween tribute to Ozzy and the boys isn't coming out of nowhere. Two things make the project more complicated, though: The show works a Bob Saget angle, for one. Citay also lists Joni Mitchell, Toto, and about fifty-hundred other bands as influences, for another (Beyoncé Knowles, Journey, and like that). The fact remains that most of Citay is here to blow our minds via Bob Saggeth, using the above-mentioned maneuvers as well as the magnificent power of dual lead riffing, epic rock drone, and a communal desire to channel Ozzy. Or Dio, for losers.
