Oakland metal juggernaut Saviours put in so much dogged road work since the release of 2008's Into Abbadon — logging time on both sides of the Atlantic with the likes of Skeletonwitch, the Sword, Clutch, and Saint Vitus — it's a small wonder the band found time to track its latest salvo, Accelerated Living. Packed with indelible locomotive riffs and savage harmonized leads, the epic new album does the Bay Area's brutal metal legacy proud. The group celebrates the stellar effort at Fog Rising, an all-day celebration of heaviness and psychedelia featuring sets from East Coast doomsayers Witch, Portland's Red Fang, and much more.
