Do the Cupid

Tonight, if you choose a nice prix-fixe Valentine’s Day dinner, you’re going to gaze around the room and have any number of special thoughts, from “Are we that couple who doesn’t talk?” to “Oh, so I had the same idea as that guy in Dad jeans. Aces.” Instead, take some advice from Will "The Thrill" Viharo, who’s been making life interesting for people for more than a decade by pulling back the curtain on yesteryear’s starlets, tiki bars, cocktails, and classic movies while saying, “See?” Tonight, he brings sweethearts back to a gentler time in romance, an iconic, mythological beach of bingo, blankets, bikers, bikinis, and Annette Funicello, all rammed through the Hollywood sausage machine and served up as Beach Blanket Bingo, which screens as part of Thrillville's Valentine's Beach Party. And proving, once again, that his shtick as a hard-driving producer is no act, Viharo worked the phones and lured one of the singing stars of the film, Donna Loren, onstage for a medley of songs. Vintage drive-in movie trailers and Kitten on the Keys round out the night.
