Some people who visit the Web site of Stallion — magician, martial artist, singer, dancer, couples therapist, majudo expert, and incredible, from the looks of it, lover — think the whole thing is a joke. What, you can be a majudo expert and a magician but not also a martial artist and an incredible, from the looks of it, lover? (Those eyes.) Maybe in being all of these things, concurrently, Stallion is none of them, one at a time, freeing himself up to be all of them, interchangeably. The yin and the yang and the sorcerer’s stone, the Tao of metallurgy, the pebble in the hand, the Half-Blood Prince and Ponch and John — Stallion also teaches traffic school. Think of it this way: Remember the kid in high school who suddenly was punk and you wanted to tell everybody that he wasn’t really punk but he never let up, he never said no, he never gave in? Egg on your face! Our meaning: Stallion used to play bass in a band called Fuck. Or, to quote Hurley positing to Sayid on Lost, “You're not a zombie, right?” And Sayid going, "No. I am not a zombie.” And we’re all, “Sayid, you are so a zombie.” Majudo is defined as sleight of hand plus lethal force, by the way. A variation, majudoe, incorporates venison. Stallion’s new show, Celestial Science: It’s about everything, and nothing. It’s magic.
