Theo Keating's new fake name, Fake Blood, is more intriguing than Touché, the alias he took on when he was half of London big-beat duo the Wiseguys, best known for the campy mid-'90s anthem "Ooh La La." (He's now half of a new group, Black Ghosts.) Fake Blood employs edgier, faster-paced production than his previous act, using rave-style 303 acid basslines and techno squelches on "Mars" and "The Dozens," a hyperdisco swirl of sharp samples for "I Think I Like It," and jubilant cheers blended with strange drones on the latest single, "Fix Your Accent." Look for Keating to inject vital plasma onto the dancefloor.
