This past May, a caravan of working people from San Francisco headed to Phoenix, Ariz., not to swing woods and irons, but to join a protest against the state’s recent anti-immigrant law, SB 1070. Our fine town sent folks from various contingents, including Service Employees International Union 1020, Community Housing Partnership, and an Asian-Pacific Islander delegation.
