It'll Be Just Like Glee

Wednesday, Jul 28 2010
Brahms' Requiem isn't something you can catch on the radio while you're driving around and just sing along with, really belting it out since no one can hear you. ABBA, sure. Brahms, no. The San Francisco City Chorus, however, offers the chance to sing with them as they do a series of famous pieces of choral music at their Summer Sings; earlier gatherings tackled Faure's and Verdi's Requiems and Beethoven's Mass in C. And you can really belt it out, even if those standing near you can indeed hear you. It's OK.
Wednesdays. Starts: July 28. Continues through Aug. 11, 2010
