Imagine Monty Python or the Kids in the Hall in drag oh wait. Those guys were constantly in drag, never mind. The Front Row is a sketch comedy troupe whose show reminds us of those other, older all-man groups, but the Front Row is all woman. (From the FR website: About fing time, right? Right.) Its narrative, absurdist, sitcom-type scenarios often involve the four players, Jennifer Keller, Lauren Davidson, Lisa Quiriconi, and Layla Rudy donning the same kind of bad wigs were used to seeing pointed in the opposite gender direction. The ladies must have a whole closetful of short wigs and dumb t-shirts, those being, after all, the universal visual signs of manhood. At tonights show, guests Jesse Elias and Donny Divanian join the quartet onstage, and the evening is hosted by Kelly Anneken.
